If there’s one thing that I happen to always have on hand, it’s potatoes. I absolutely love how versatile they are, and you’re able to pick what sort of dish you’re in the mood to make at your whim and fancy. Recently, I’ve been making potato wedges more frequently, especially once I’ve perfected my recipe when making them in the air fryer (aka my best friend)!
These garlic potato wedges make for a great appetizer or even as something for you to snack on. There have been many days–maybe more than I care to admit–when I’ve made this just so I can munch on something while chilling in front of the TV. A whole batch can be gone within the first 20 minutes. They’re also a great hit when we host game nights!
Crispy & Soft Wedges
Enjoy delicious wedges that are crispy on the outside but soft and tender on the inside. A dish that’s sure to entice us fellow garlic lovers without a doubt.
Perfectly seasoned with paprika, onion and garlic powder (with an optional pinch of chili powder for that bit of spice!), the potato wedges are air fried until golden perfection, then tossed in a coating of sinful garlic butter.
I also love to add parmesan, minced parsley and a squeeze of lime to tie it all together.

Notes for Air Fried Garlic Potato Wedges
- Type of potatoes: I love using Russet Potatoes when making wedges as I find that it gives the best level of crispiness after frying. However, you can still use other types such as Yukon Gold, Red, Yellow, or White potatoes. You will just end up with different crispy textures. But the seasoning will work just as good.
- Pat potatoes dry: Make sure to pat dry the potatoes before mixing in with seasonings and oil in order to prevent them from getting soggy once you’ve air fried them.
- Dipping sauce options: Pair this with your favorite dipping sauces for your ultimate snack. Some suggestions include:
- ketchup
- chili sauce
- Tartar sauce
- sour cream
- ranch dressing
- sweet chili cheese sauce, that you can find the recipe here: Crispy Air Fried Crab Stick Crackers
