We all love a good, simple recipe that can be whipped up any time we’re in a time crunch. And this gyeran bap dish is exactly that! A meal that can be put together within 10 minutes, but will keep you full for hours.
Throughout the years of me watching Korean dramas and variety shows, this is one of the main dishes that I would always come across (aside from the classic ramyeon, of course). And I’m always amazed at how mouthwatering it seems every time, despite how easy and effortless it is to make.
Gyeran Bap
Gyeran bap is a Korean dish of fried egg with rice, most popularly eaten for breakfast (though you can certainly have it for lunch or dinner as well!).
It’s a hearty and comforting dish consisting of buttered rice topped with fried eggs, then mixed together with some soy sauce and sesame oil.
