Japanese curry is a home cooking staple in Japan, with their most go-to dish being curry rice. Another curry dish that’s not as popular as curry rice, though just as delicious, is Curry Udon.
This noodle dish is a favorite of many! And psst…it’s a big hit with the kids as well! It has a creamy, slightly salty and flavorful sauce that pairs amazingly with udon.

An easy recipe that you wouldn’t want to miss out on. Enjoy!

Notes

I really loved this recipe. I think the curry was surprisingly thick so I ended up adding about 2 tbsp of water. It was still thick but I didn’t want to push it. I really liked the simple ingredients. I’ll be making this again asap. Maybe tomorrow.
I didn’t add parm because I, personally, thought that was more an additional kid-attractor. As a salt lover, I don’t think it affected the my enjoyment. I added ground pork because I love meat. I used fat free evaporated milk. I was FORCED to use a different story fry noodle because they were out of udon.
So happy you enjoyed it! Hope you get to try it with udon next time 🙂
