Let’s give pizza night a bit of a twist, shall we? Have a go at this pull-apart style pizza bread, which is so ridiculously easy to make and requires only a handful of ingredients, you’ll be a pro at it in no time!

Pull-Apart Pizza (with the sauce, please!)

What is a pull-apart pizza? It’s bite-sized pieces of biscuit (or pizza) dough that’s mixed together with shredded cheese, pepperoni, and pasta or pizza sauce, then baked to completion!

In most pull-apart pizza recipes, the dish itself is prepared sans the pizza sauce, but then it’s served on the side as an option for you to dip the pizza bread in. However, I love the saucy element when paired with these bites (just like a normal pizza!), which is why I just end up mixing it together.

For a messy free finger food experience, I just eat it with a fork. It also presents an interesting solution for who gets the last piece — you duel it out with your cutlery. Not to mention the extra entertainment you get if both parties are competitive, like my husband and I. 😉

Ingredients You’ll Need

  • Pre-made biscuit dough or pizza dough: I used the Pillsbury Grands! Flaky Layers Original Biscuits dough.
  • Pasta/Pizza sauce: I personally love using store-bought ones with the garlic flavor.
  • Shredded mozzarella
  • Shredded sharp cheddar
  • Pepperoni
  • Dried basil (optional)
  • Chili oil (optional): Will always incorporate chili oil if I can! I’m a spicy fiend.

Recipe Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375 F. Cut the biscuit/pizza dough into small bite sized pieces.
  2. Mix the dough, 1 cup cheddar cheese, 3/4 cup mozzarella, 3/4 cup pepperoni, and chili oil until well combined (see notes).
  3. Spread out in an oven safe dish and add dried basil, the remaining mozzarella and pepperoni on top.
  4. Bake for 30-35 minutes and let it stand for at least 5-10 minutes before serving. Enjoy!

Notes for Easy Saucy Pull-Apart Pizza

  • Sauce on the side: You can choose to skip the sauce during mixing and serve on the side instead for a dry pull-apart pizza.
  • Toppings: Any pizza toppings can be an option for this dish! Mushrooms, bell peppers, olives, or even the controversial pineapple (which team are you?).
  • Cheese: The types of cheese used are also up to your preference. I used mozzarella and sharp cheddar.

The best pizza in the city where pizza was invente The best pizza in the city where pizza was invented @farahjeats 🍕
📍Pizzeria Da Michele, Naples, Italy
📍 Pizzeria D’angeli, Naples, Italy
We got pizza from one of the oldest pizzerias in Naples, Italy and it didn’t disappoint. We got there right when it opened and there was already a line. We ended up getting the pizzas to-go and ate it on the hood of our rental car. Each box of pizza was only €5 and we got every item on the menu (it was only a 4 item menu anyway 😂). While waiting in line, the smell of the wood fired pizza was sooo good we were so hungry by the time we got our orders. We got pizzas from across the street too just to compare. There was no line at that restaurant and you could easily get a table. It was a little bit more expensive per pizza but still affordable. Both pizzas were delicious! Still dreaming about it till this day 🥲
Fun fact: Eat, Pray, Love was filmed at Pizzeria Da Michele!

Chewy noodles infused with spicy, tangy and savory flavors, and ready within 30 minutes!
This is definitely not an authentic recipe but a simplified version that my mother-in-law makes often and now a recipe that I make quite a lot for a quick breakfast using ingredients easily accessible to us here. It definitely hits the spot! Feel free to add protein of your choice to this dish or just add a fried egg on top!
I’ll work on an authentic Malaysian mee goreng recipe and share soon ☺️

Ramadan recipe #21 Rendang Ayam (Dry Chicken Cocon Ramadan recipe #21 Rendang Ayam (Dry Chicken Coconut Curry) @farahjeats
Save and share this flavorful and delicious recipe!
Ending my Ramadan series with one of the best dishes. This is a dish that’s traditionally served during Eid/Raya in Malaysia, Indonesia and Singapore. Every family usually has their own version of this. It’s usually served with nasi impit (cubed rice), lemang or pulut kuning (turmeric glutinous rice) but also just as good with white rice.
Making this is a truly a labor of love especially when you make big batches. It can take hours! Families will cook this the night before Eid so the dish will be ready in time for the big celebration. The whole house will usually smell like rendang when this is made and honestly, one of the best smells that reminds me of such great and fond memories.
This month just flew by— thanks so much for tuning in. I’ll be back with my usual twice a week recipes starting next week 💛
